  2. CHAPTER ONE : The Beginning

  4. And I say verily to you that a prophet shall arise amoung thee,
  5. and say things that were never before said. He shall come and
  6. say things that although never before said, will now be said.
  7. And the prophet shall have a name, and the name shall be
  8. a secret. And he will write about unwritten things in a
  9. manner that will cause much consternation.
  10. `Looney' yea shall cry.
  11. `Bugger off' yea shall command.
  12. But the prophet shall ingore yea and continue to write, and write
  13. and write, into the wee small hours - of things unknown and, so far,
  14. unsaid. In a style that will cause much confusion to the educated.

  16. By his writings shall yea know the prophet. By the billions of bits
  17. of information shall he come amoung you, the blind, and show you
  18. the truth. And the truth shall be written by the prophet for all
  19. to see. For there is no getting away from the words of the prophet.
  20. Kill files will avail you not, for the prophet writes much, and
  21. is a master of disguise, and yea shall not know who to kill, much to
  22. your distress.

  25. CHAPTER TWO : The Early Years
  26.  
  27. The prophets early years were filled with learning. When still
  28. a young lad, he brought an astronomy book by the well known
  29. Russian scientist (grade 2) Vladimir Krillnestov entitled
  30. `Astronomy for boys and other stories.'
  31. >From this mighty book did the prophet learn the ways of science.
  32. Of the mighty gas giants, of the constellations and the names
  33. of planets in other systems that, although they had not been
  34. discovered, were there because the great Russian scientist (grade two)
  35. Yuri Krillnestov said they were. Little did the young prophet
  36. realise the importance of this book. Only as he got older did
  37. he realise that a conspiracy by the Russian branch of the
  38. Atlantis group of Nations kept the book out of the best seller
  39. list. It was at this point in time that the boy decided to tell
  40. the world the truth. It was at this point in time that the boy
  41. decided to become a prophet, much to the disappointment of
  42. his parents who had hoped he would be a doctor.

  44. CHAPTER THREE : The Book of the Prophet
  45.  
  46. I say to thee that they walk amoung us. They, our friends from
  47. the Pleiades and the Lyra group of Nations. They, our multi-
  48. coloured friends will help us when we have matured.
  49. For they are old and wise, and we have yet to discover a
  50. pastry that will not go soggy in the microwave. By this
  51. do they know us. By our culinary disasters shall we be
  52. seen as failures by our galactic neighbours.

  54. But we shall overcome this. Do not heed the book of the
  55. purple shade of greys, for they are the enemy of cuisine.
  56. Indeed, they are the enemy of all things proper, for they
  57. are the anglophiles who would force you to have devinshire
  58. tea each morning around elevenish. Forsooth, I say to thee,
  59. destroy all who would offer you a jam scone and tea.

  61. Where do they come from, our friends? From the Pleiades cluster.
  62. They are old, as the cluster is old. But that was not their first
  63. home. Many eons before, they lived on a mighty planet in the
  64. Antares group of systems. A mighty empire they did have, swapping
  65. recipes for pastry and coffee. Then the purple shade of greys arrived
  66. from the Centauras region. A mighty war ravaged the heavens, and laid
  67. waste the coffee rooms of the Pleiadians. Out classed, they ran
  68. away, moving from planet to planet, just ahead of the purple shade
  69. of greys, until finally they decided to stop and bring forth a
  70. young race to do battle with the enemy.
  71. Yes! We are the chosen ones, the coffee drinkers who shall destroy
  72. the drinkers of devinshire tea.
  73. Yes! We will become the worthy successors of the Pleiadians and Lyrans.
  74. Where do the Lyrans come in? you ask. Well, I shall tell you.
  75. Many millions of years ago a young race invented a machine to put
  76. a chocolate powder on top of coffee. This great breakthrough was
  77. immediately fowarded onto the Pleiadians, who, being the mighty
  78. noble race that they are, offered the Lyrians a partnership.
  79. It the Lyrians allowed the Pleiadians to run away, they could fight
  80. the purple shade of greys all by themselves. Being a high strung,
  81. albeit stupid, race, they agreed. Thus was forged a friendship
  82. which lasts to this day. It is true that the Lyrians are now
  83. few in number, but they make up for it in quality.
